100 Day Summit

100 Days, an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. Had I tried to explain this feeling on Day 99, I would not have been able to. I would have fallen short. I am sitting here, and there are huge feelings of pride swollen up in my chest. I was almost moved to tears from the simple congratulations of my brothers and sisters, those that have come before me, and the ones to follow.

These feelings are genuine. It is not some fleeting superficial moment, but and emotional movement within myself and those with me. I have reached the summit of a mountain that many people are too afraid to climb. I have followed in the footsteps of those that went before me, and I will continue to blaze the way for others to follow. To reach this summit is Nirvana. It is not the last mountain I will climb, but it is probably the most important, for it was the first and hardest of many.

Now that I stand on the precipice of this mountain, the view is beautiful. I know that I can fall, but I am not afraid. For with me are people who want me to succeed, people who I want to succeed. If I slip their hands will catch me, and my hands are there to help those who need it.
