24,000 Members Marching Toward Independence
I missed it by a couple of days due to the holiday weekend, but on July 4th, 2015 we passed the 24,000 registered member mark! The fact that this occurred on July 4th, Independence Day, is sort of cool. Independence from dip is a beautiful thing.
Here’s a look back at recent 1,000 member growth cycles:
- 24,000 members – 7.4.2015 – 115 days to go from 23,000 to 24,000
- 23,000 members – 3.11.2015 – 86 days to go from 22,000 to 23,000
- 22,000 members – 12.16.2014 – 87 days to go from 21,000 to 22,000
- 21,000 members – 9.20.2014 – 75 days to go from 20,000 to 21,000
- 20,000 members – 7.7.2014 – 96 days to go from 19,000 to 20,000

We now have over 3.4 million posts on the forums and over 3,300 Facebook fans. Twitter, Google + and Instagram are continuing to grow and we’re getting a TON of comments here on the blog and on the main site. We’ve implemented a daily roll call here on the blog as well and you can sign up for email alerts so you’ll know when that post is available. When it comes to quit support, size matters. The more folks you have to ask questions, bounce ideas off, the better off you’re going to be. With over 24,000 members, you can pretty much guarantee that there is someone out there who’s experienced the exact same symptom that you’re dealing with. Get on board… you’ll be glad that you did.
I’ve said it many times… When you’re looking to quit dipping there is quite simply no better place to do it. Don’t take my word for it. 24,000 other people “get it” as well. We’ve all been there.
As always, I want to offer my sincere thanks to everyone who’s joined us so far and especially to the mods and admins for making KillTheCan.org the incredible community that it is. Onward to a 25,000!!!
PS: Photo is from the television show 24 – if you’ve never seen it, you should.
