Rest In Peace Lee ‘Hawk’ Reherman
It is with great sadness that I write this post. Friend of KillTheCan.org, anti-smokeless tobacco advocate, actor and former American Gladiator Lee Reherman has passed away suddenly. Lee joined us many times throughout the years in our live chat and worked tirelessly with Hooch Snuff to get the word out about the dangers of smokeless tobacco.
Lee made his first professional acting appearance as an unnamed football player in the television show Columbo in 1992 and in 1993 he joined the American Gladiators television show as “Hawk”. He was the regular host of Hot Rod TV and Forza Motorsport Showdown. He appeared in Star Trek Into Darkness, 90210, General Hospital, Hannah Montana, The First Family, K.C. Undercover and a slew of other television and movie roles.
I found out just now when Lee’s agent Anthony Turk posted the following to his Facebook wall:
Dear Friends…
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I inform you of the sad and unexpected passing of my dear Friend, PR Client & Business Partner, Lee Reherman. Your prayers are greatly appreciated at this very difficult time. Lee was loved by everyone who knew him and he will never be forgotten.
Lee you will be sorely missed. Thank you for everything that you did as an anti-tobacco advocate and for all the joy you brought to your fans.
Rest in peace my friend.
