BaccOff Apple Blend Pouch Review
Back today with a long overdue review of a new (ish) product from one of the original players in the smokeless alternative market – BaccOff. They introduced their second generation pouches back in April of last year (which you can read about here) and shortly thereafter they released a new flavor as well – Apple Blend.
You can check out my previous BaccOff reviews below:

Note: this marks the first time I’m posting a review on the main site as opposed to the blog. In case you missed it I’m in the process of migrating most everything from the blog over here. Hopefully it will be completely seamless and when I’m done you won’t have to be looking in two spots for stuff.
I say this is long overdue because I shot the video below about three months ago. What can I say… life gets in the way.
BaccOff Classic Apple Blend Pouches
As always, great smell when opening a product from BaccOff. They really go out of their way to make their flavors and smells as similar to real tobacco products as possible. I’m not familiar with any of the real apple flavored tobacco product out there so I can’t speak to the similarities in taste other than to say it tastes like apple which is a good thing. These are certainly most coming out of the can as you can see in the video but I’ve got to say that it really doesn’t translate to a super moist, spit inducing pouch. Sure there’s spit produced but not as much as with some other pouches (including BaccOff pouches). That’s not to say these are dry, but just not as most as some others out there. A drop or two of water (or whiskey 😉 ) should take care of that.
I’m a two pouch guy for the most part and with two these lasted a nice long time – upwards of 20 minutes or so. Again, had I soaked them down prior to trying them I might have added a few minutes to my experience.
BaccOff Apple Blend Pouches Ingredients
Tea Leaves, Waer, Glycerin, Sugar, Salt, Natural & Artificial Flavors, Vinegar, Caramel Coloring, Bakers Ammonia, Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Benzoate
Final Thoughts
BaccOff has listened to what their customers were telling them as continues to make products that are very true to real tobacco both in flavor and texture. There are certainly other apple products on the alternative market but as far as I can recall this is the only apple pouch product out there so that’s great news for pouch fans. If you’re a fan of apple flavor chew give this one a try. It wasn’t the moistest of the BaccOff products I’ve tried but it was great nonetheless.
You can order BaccOff directly from their website or on Amazon.
Special thanks to Russell and Will from BaccOff for providing samples for me to try and review.
