Bring It Here

I ran across the following post between LooT and a newb (Cando) in October 2010. It reminded me some of the early quit events we have all been thru. Here’s the thing….. your friends / family / kids / spouse didn’t make the choice to take that first dip/chew that started this addiction we all share. Anger and impatience is just part of the process…… realize this and take a deep breath and a small step back. Treat these “anger flashes” the same as a crave….. they will pass.

In the meantime, bring it here. We’ve got a “Get our Bitch on” thread. You have your brothers in your group, you have vets that understand it ain’t personal……bring your shitty lil mood here and pick a “virtual fight” with ole mule, LooT, Pine, Tobasco, Smokey…..and the list goes on and on…..Take a big ole dump up on the table and we’ll all gather around and talk bout texture, curl, consistency, odor, color……call you a doosh and help you get back to quittin. No Worries.

This exchange reminded me of this most important tool this site provides……..

Roll call means everything. Roll call requires everything. Roll Call is everything. Buy into the concept and you have a leg up on your addiction. Your addiction does not like roll call. Your addiction will, over the course of time, cause you to lash out at roll call/QSX. Realize it for what it is…a last ditch effort to get you back to a can.
