KillTheCan.org and its associated properties (online forum, live chat, social media, etc.) exist to help people quit chewing tobacco in all its forms. I select content that I believe is consistent with this purpose whether written by me or by a member of our forums.

In compliance with FTC Regulations regarding disclosure of relationships between bloggers and brands, you will see a short disclosure at the bottom of every product review stating whether the product was furnished by a brand or PR agency with a link back to this Disclosure Policy as reference.

Compensation Disclosure

In the interest of full disclosure, I have affiliate advertising relationships and may receive commission from affiliate partners when readers purchase from those links. KillTheCan.org (but not the live chat, or forum) may contain paid advertising through relationships with Google Ad networks (Google Adsense) and Amazon Affiliates. It has been this way since I built the site in November of 2006 and started the blog in November of 2009.

Commitment to Mission

You have my word that I will never advertise or promote anything that is inconsistent with the purpose of KillTheCan.org, even if I could make money doing it. Furthermore, if a forum member submits a review you can rest assured that the same standards will be upheld. I am contacted regularly and asked to promote all kinds of products and services that I decline because they do not serve you, the readers, or the KillTheCan.org purpose.
