Eliminate Dip As An Option
This conversation took place on the forums and I wanted to share it here. The idea of removing dip as an option is one that’s vitally important for new quitters to grasp.

next thought “add some water and shke it up”
first words out of mouth “FUCK OFF!” and slung it against the wall (oustide)…immediately went into a rage, screaming and cussing. Wife lookin at LOOt like…”chill man”

I guess I could ask the same question about the tin of dip…

no…like the majority of you, the Day LOOT made a Day 1 post…he’d eliminated Cope as an option in his life. No matter how shitty thing got, LOOT was willing to risk it all because LOOt understood the stakes were so high.
The thought of water was just a reaction as LOOT had quit many times before only to water down a 4 month of tin for a fix. If you are like LOOT, you prolly had 8 or 9 cans in the car claimed as empty. You’d “Quit” and with 2 hours you were combining tins and adding water. Then…feeling like shit for being such a pussy and perpetuating the cycle.
the cycle is over. we are clean. we are shining beacons to the masses that think it can’t be done.
tell ya what is sad. LOOT will see dude in the CStore buying a tin. LOOT says “you should quit man, that shit will kill you”. LOOT isn’t observant but 9 time out of 10, the eyes drop with the head and they mutter “I’ve tried, I just can’t”
that is a miserable feeling people…we’ve all been there. this place provides us the inspiration and the courage to make it happen.
riddle LOOT this…why have you lied to every person you hold dear in your life over a can? and why will you NOT lie to an group of strangers on an internet forum.
LOOT has his own answer…because at this point, there are enough of these “strangers” that care enough about loot to buy that plane ticket, or make that car ride, just to kick loot’s ass….and they would too.
what about you guys? why will you not lie to LOOT about a tin? why will you make a daily commitment to LOOT that you can’t make to yourself and keep?
