From a Grateful Wife

Wife of KTC member BillC reached out with this testimonial:

I know wives don’t normally show up here, but please humor me. Some of you know that I have posted my husband’s posts for him, so I am not actually new to this site. If you will bear with me, I will try to be as brief as possible.

BillC is my husband. He is on day 107 now of his quit. He had me title it How KTC Saves Lives. He had a good reason. The story includes a number of solo quits and caves, health problems like heart surgeries due to multiple massive heart attacks that occurred during a wild array of seizure activity, complications with his seizure disorder itself and heart meds conflicting with the Epilepsy meds, lots of huge changes with critical meds to stabilize his health, onset of pre Parkinson tremors, TMJ, and sleep apnea. And…that nasty stuff he chewed since he was 14 (he is 60) was right in there doing its best to complicate it all. He had a earache/headache that lasted 8 months which affected his ear and jaw that sent him to a dentist, a Neurologist, an ENT specialist, and a TMJ/apnea specialist. The ENT specialist answered Bill’s question, “Do people ever really lose their tongues or voice boxes with what I have?” He looked him in the eye said matter-of-factly, “I take them out all the time. You need to stop.”

Now, I want to thank everyone online and those who moderate and run the site. I thank you from the family point of view. We thought we weren’t going to have him much longer. KTC made the difference. We can’t thank you guys enough! He will see his grandkids grow up and have their own families now. That wasn’t going to happen before.
