Independence From Smokeless Tobacco
July 4th. Independence Day. In the years since I’ve been a quitter this day has taken on a new meaning for me. Not only am I celebrating the birth of our nation and all things ‘Murica’ but I’m celebrating my own personal INDEPENDENCE from smokeless tobacco.
If you’re a quitter, you know what I’m talking about. You remember the battle you went through to get free. You remember the withdrawals, feeling like garbage and thinking that you just wouldn’t make it. I’m here to tell you that you CAN make it.
If you’ve run across this site and are thinking about quitting, I’m here to tell you that it can be done. I’m here to tell you that it’s 100% worth it. And I’m here to tell you that even with ALL the shit I went through to get quit, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Freedom from smokeless tobacco… freedom from addiction… freedom to not worry about a little can in my back pocket is quickly simply amazing.
To my fellow quitters out there – Happy INDEPENDENCE Day. You’ve earned it.
I’m officially two years quit today. Couldn’t be happier! I still have my struggles once in awhile but I’ve been able to turn my head away from the bitch nicotine. Happy 4th quitters!!!
Congrats on two years of freedom!
Thank you sir!
Congratulations on 2 years quit!
