Jake’s Mint Chew Apple Cider Pouches Review

Jake's Mint Chew Apple Cider Pouches SquareWho likes Apple Cider? Back this morning with a review of new flavor from our friends at Jake’s Mint Chew. If you recall, the last time I reviewed a new flavor from Jake’s it was back in October of this year when I looked at their Pumpkin Spice Coffee Pouches (they were a recommend).

In any case, today I’m sampling and reviewing Jake’s Mint Chew Apple Cider Pouches.

I’d have to go back and verify, but I’m pretty sure Jake’s has more variety in flavor offering than any other smokeless alternative manufacturer. For these flavored dips my #1 priority when it comes to grading these is this: Do they taste like the flavor they’re supposed to taste like?

I’m happy to say that these Apple Cider Pouches do indeed taste like apple cider… and that’s a very good thing. Jake’s pouches are very consistent. All of their pouches use the same material and produce a good amount of saliva.

I tested using TWO pouches which seems about right in terms of flavor and longevity of the chew. For context I used to get about six dips out of a can of Kodiak. These smell amazing when you pop the can and as I said, they tasted just like I’d expect an apple cider product to taste. Not too much cinnamon which in my opinion is a huge win.

All of Jake’s products provide enough saliva for a long lasting chew. I don’t spit when using these pouches but you certainly could. When you give these a ‘push’ you’ll get a nice little burst of flavor which will give you another 10 minutes or so out of the dip. These are a great bridge between fall and winter flavors. If you’re a pumpkin spice fan I’m guessing you’ll love these. I’d give these a recommend as well. Worth trying for sure!
