Jakes Mint Chew – Apple Spice – Review By Jerrod (Oct ‘23)

I like this one a lot. It has the flavor of apple and something else like a bitter cinnamon or something. I’ve been trying to figure it out for a few weeks, but can’t place that second flavor exactly. I think if it were straight green apple then it might be better, but it hasn’t stopped me from enjoying over half the can. The flavor lasts anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour.

It’s moist and holds together pretty well in the lip. I was never a big user of traditional dip, so I’m not sure how the consistency of Jake’s chews matches up to the real thing. I always shied away from loose dip because it always felt messy. This feels better than I remember dip being but that could be because I’m getting used to these.
