Ode To 102 – a Message To Big Tobacco
102 days that I’ve been free from the can.
Been a long haul for sure, and I’m still NOT the “man”.
By that I just mean, 100 days IS a lot,
But there’s bad-asses like Chewie, STILL solid as a rock.
I want my quit to matter, but not just to me.
I want to be an example for others to get free.
But don’t you think, that’s the path we should take?
To lead lead those behind from making our mistake?
We’re all about our quit, but it’s deeper than that.
I say we hunt down the ass-holes who make all that crap.
They know the truth about what’s going on.
They feed on the weak to keep pockets strong.
And though tomorrow I’ll be quit one more day,
because of their shit, an addict, I’ll stay.
But know this one thing will forever ring true:
Our message to the dip makers…. “HEY SCREW YOU”!!!
