Ode To Day 88 – What Will Your Speech Say?

Last night I was asked, “what will your speech say”?
I was actually rather stumped, but the task I shall slay.
I guess I could talk about the choices I made.
Or the gambles I took, the life cards I played.
I could probably write about what the quit’s made me,
Or even include the bonds formed here on K-T-C.
The point I shall make will be one from the heart,
That I’ve kept my quit pure, right from the start.
The truth be told, there were nights that I cried,
I wanted a dip bad, there was nowhere to hide.
But these days I’ve walked, 88 as of today,
Have not been alone, and not been child’s play.
I’ve had my brothers here who’ve helped me stay strong,
they’ve kept me straight, movin my ass right along!
So grateful for this site, You’ve helped me pass A LOT of time.
Tomorrow’s one day closer I’m postin day 89!
