Ode To Day 94 – We Can’t Be Content

Today three more studs crossed to the Hall of Fame.
I’m proud of each one, They all earned acclaim.
But one thing for sure, we all need to hear,
We can’t be content for the rest of the year.
There’s much work to do, and not just for us,
what about other’s who’ve just caught the quit bus?
It is our duty to support them each day,
PAY it FORWARD, is what Sportsfan would say.
Our roll is to help them gain some quit traction,
But I am satisfied with an unsatisfiable satisfaction.
I will be happy when all of April can say,
“we’re Hall of Fame members, the fog we did slay”
My brother’s of April, DAMN GOOD to be alive,
And tomorrow, God willing, I’ll post DAY NINETY-FIVE.
