Ode To Day 97 – You Look Like a Fool

Was talking with a bro ’bout how dumb dip is,
How stupid we looked when puttin’ that shit in.
Don’t know about you, but I thought it was cool,
Even when my girl said, “you look like a fool”.
Most of us dipped through nite and through day,
The thought of it now makes me sick, I must say.
Walkin around spittin in our spit-tooters.
We loved that shit, like them girls at Hooters!
But we are done with it now, our path we have changed,
Our methods, some crude, others borderline strange.
Like for me, I write poems to deal with this shit,
It keeps my mind busy, and focused on my quit.
Each one of finds something that works in our own way,
But we still support of brothers each and everyday.
So if your new to your quit, find a bro, get plugged in.
And if an “old head”, Pay it Forward, and you’ll win!
In the end your quit will make you feel great.
It will for me tomorrow, as I post DAY NINETY-EIGHT!!!
