Rest In Peace Buddyboy
Being a part of an online support group means being part of something bigger. If you allow it to be, it becomes a family. We foster and grow these relationships through sharing common experiences, dealing with our addiction and from time to time getting together with one another off the boards. As with any close knit group this can lead both to some great times as well as some bad times.
It’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my friend John today. To the majority of forum members he was known as “buddyboy” but being as we both live in Cleveland I had the pleasure of meeting him on multiple occasions. In my few meetings with John Bukovnik I quickly learned that he was a family man who was passionate about his home life, his business and his quit. I’m happy to say that he won his battle against nicotine. He should have been posting 557 days free today. He was taken from us too soon.
John you will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
