Use Nicotine Gum Or Quit Cold Turkey?

Question – Nicotine Gum?
Should I quit cold turkey or use nicotine gum? I currently am chewing about a can and a half of Copenhagen per day.

Congrats on a great decision to quit dipping!
I would 100% tell you to go cold turkey. It is by far the fastest way to get CLEAN where you can really start your recovery. Medically speaking, it takes nicotine 3 days to work its way out of your body if you’re not reintroducing it. This is the problem with nicotine gum – you continually reintroduce the drug that you’re addicted to back into your system.
That said, I won’t lie to you. Cold turkey can be hell. Anyone who tells you otherwise is looking to sell you something or is flat out lying to you.

But once that nicotine is no longer flowing through your veins… MAN, does your quit get awesome. Quit = no nicotine. Cold turkey = the fastest way to get nicotine out of your body.
